January is the time of year when everyone makes New Year’s resolutions to lose weight and get healthy. Why not include your kids in that plan? Kids tend to copy their parents, so practice what you preach! Even better, make sure what you’re doing is the right thing, before your kids start to do it too. A little education goes a long way.
Teaching kids nutrition is really not that hard. The internet is full of nutrition resources, and there are plenty of ways to include them in your homeschooling day. Simple things like encourging healthy snacks, reasonable bedtimes, limiting “screen time”, and encouraging physical activity really do produce results. Healthier kids are happier kids!
